Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the app, you may choose to provide information such as:

• Your sobriety date and sobriety progress preferences.
• Your display name.
• Daily pledge entries, notes, gratitude entries, journal content, meeting reminders, and personal recovery reminders.
• Contacts or meeting details that you manually add inside the app.
• Support messages you send to us by email or through the website.

Sign in with Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a user identifier and, only when you choose to share it, your name or email address. Sober Sunrise uses this information to support account-related features and personalization.

App Purchases and Subscriptions

Sober Sunrise offers optional Sponsor subscriptions through Apple. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment information are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card information.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Sober Sunrise may schedule reminders such as daily pledge reminders, morning reminders, meeting reminders, milestone reminders, or new episode alerts. Local reminders run on your device. If remote push notifications are used, Apple Push Notification service may process a device push token so notifications can be delivered.

Audio, Website, and Remote Asset Loading

The app may connect to Sober Sunrise website services, podcast/audio feeds, WordPress content, Cloudflare-hosted images, or similar services to load recovery speaker talks, app artwork, premium coin assets, or related content. These services may receive standard technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, request time, and requested URL.

iCloud and Apple Services

If iCloud or Apple account features are enabled, Apple may process data according to Apple’s own privacy terms. Sober Sunrise may use Apple-provided storage or authentication services to support syncing and account features.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the app, provide recovery tools, maintain subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, including Apple, website hosting providers, analytics or crash reporting providers if enabled, email/support providers, and asset delivery providers. We do not sell your personal information.

Your Choices

• You can choose what information to enter in the app.
• You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• You can contact us to request help with account or data questions.

Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains there unless you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app and its data. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to you and maintain records.

Health, Recovery, and Emergency Disclaimer

Sober Sunrise is not a medical provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional care, therapy, treatment, sponsorship, meetings, or crisis support. If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for crisis support.

Children

Sober Sunrise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
