These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Sober Sunrise, including the Sober Sunrise mobile app, website, subscriptions, and related services.

Important: Sober Sunrise is a recovery companion and sobriety tracking app. It is not medical advice, professional treatment, therapy, sponsorship, an emergency service, or a substitute for recovery meetings or professional care.

Agreement to These Terms

By using Sober Sunrise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sober Sunrise. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Recovery and Health Disclaimer

Sober Sunrise provides sobriety tracking, reflections, reminders, audio content, widgets, and personalization tools. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. You are responsible for your own recovery decisions and should seek professional, medical, therapeutic, emergency, or peer-support help when needed.

If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for crisis support.

No Affiliation

Sober Sunrise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., AA Grapevine, any specific recovery fellowship, or any meeting organization. References to recovery concepts, speaker talks, or fellowship-style language are provided for personal recovery support and inspiration.

User Content and Personal Data

You may enter personal notes, pledge entries, meeting reminders, contacts, or other recovery information. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your device secure.

Subscriptions

Sober Sunrise may offer optional paid Sponsor subscriptions that unlock premium features such as premium coin themes, widgets, or visual customization.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
  • Prices, features, and subscription availability may change as permitted by Apple and applicable law.

License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Sober Sunrise for personal, non-commercial use. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s App Store terms, including Apple’s standard end user license agreement when applicable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app or website, attempt to disrupt services, reverse engineer protected portions of the app, violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or use Sober Sunrise to harm others.

Content and Intellectual Property

Sober Sunrise, including its design, artwork, coin themes, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Sober Sunrise Podcast - Salt Flats Analytics, LLC. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse app content except as allowed by law or with written permission.

Third-Party Services

The app may rely on Apple services, website hosting, audio feeds, asset delivery networks, and other third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

Sober Sunrise is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every recovery situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sober Sunrise Podcast - Salt Flats Analytics, LLC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or recovery outcomes arising from your use of Sober Sunrise.

Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the app, features, subscriptions, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Sober Sunrise after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
